Book P, page 192 State of Georgia Muscogee County Davis A Andrews Trustee vs. Laverna A C Andrews ............................Whereas Sarah E Day, William G AR Andrews, SR Andrews, Davis A Andrews, George E , Clarance H Andrews, Joseph C Andrews, and Mary A formerly Mary A Andrews of said County and State and G <&?> Julius A Andrews and Susan E Kirven formerly Sus Andrews of the state of Mississippi and Amanda formerly Amanda Andrews of the State of Alabama all of Samuel R Andrews deceased and all of age James Johnson Judge of the Superior Court in and for at Chambers Showing that William G Andrews by of indenture made the ___ day of February 1854 to one Joseph B Hill then in life but now deceased a lot in the City of Columbus in said County Book P, page 193 of Samuel R Andrews to her sale and use and her Estate during her natural life and if she should survive husband then during her widowhood and that upon the of us her of these the said property was to be conveyed the Children of Samuel R Andrews then in life or to the children of such Children as should be And that the Elizabeth Andrews departed this life on the ___ day July 1872 with out even having sold or of said property and that said Joseph B Hill was leaving no to execute said Trust according to the Terms of said they ask his Honor James Johnson to appoint Davis A Andrews a fit & proper Trustee in the place and of said Hill and upon the hearing of said petition his James Johnson did in the 3rd day of September 1872 an Order appointing Davis A Andrews Trustee in the of said Hill deceased with all the of said deed of trust And they further showed his Honor that said property could not be divided in Kind and that necessary that the should be sold to carry out of said and for a division among the Children of the said Samuel R Andrews and they therefore an Order authorizing said Davis A Andrews as to sell said property And his Honor after hearing of said did in the 7th day of September 1872 an Order authorizing said Davis A Trustee to sell property and by virtue of said Order the said Davis A Andrews Trustee as aforesaid advertised said property sale in the Daily Columbus Enquirer for thirty days and Tuesday the fifth day of November 1872 between the lawful of sale the same for sale at public in of the auction house of Ellis Harrison in the City of Columbus in said County to the highest bidder the Southern of City lot 244, the north fence as it now stands being Northern boundary line And Laverna A C Andrews wife George E Andrews of said County being the highest bidder the was knocked off to her at the price or sum of Thirty hundred and Twenty dollars Now this indenture this the Thirteenth day of November AD 1872 between Davis A Andrews Trustee as aforesaid of the first part and said Laverna A C Andrews of the second part both of County and State aforesaid that the said Davis A Trustee for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Three hundred and Twenty five dollars when in hand paid at and for the sealing and delivery of these The receipt is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained & sold conveyed and by these bargain sell conveyed unto the said Laverna A C Andrews her heirs assigns the Southern portion of City lot 244 the North Book P, page 194 north fence as it now stands being the northern line said portion of said lot is lying in the West Jackson Street in the City of Columbus in said back the full length of said lot To have and to hold the said bargained premises her the said Laverna A C Andrews her heirs and with all and bargained the right numbers and Thereof to the sum in any manner belonging to her own proper use benefit and behoof in Fee Simple at her death of said property has not been previously conveyed by Laverna A C then to the Children of the A C in fee Simple but should the said Laverna A C property then property arising from the sale of the death of the said Laverna A C Shall go to and of the Children of the said Davis A Trustee as afore heirs assigns and successors in Trust the said unto the said Laverna A C her heir and and forever the right and title thereof against against the claims of her heirs execution a and Successors in Trust and against the claims of what so ever...............
