Fl.  wife Lucina Caroline Williams married in Hills Co. Fl. 18
Oct 1854 Jul 1909 in Sumter Co. Fl.

She resided in Sumter Co. Fl. since 1 Apr 1849 Attest: 1. B. C.
Bridges, R. T. Wilkerson Claim for Pension post office Coloman
Sumter Co. Fl.  widow of Rev. S. A. McCook  Mrs. L. C. McCook
b. in Pike Co. Al. 15 Jun 1836 Rev. Died 17 Jul  1875 Webster
Sumter Co. fl. she had not remarried. From the WAR DEPT to
Comptroller, St. of Fl. Tallahassee.

The records show that S. A. McCook,private, Company D. 2nd Fl.
Calvalry, CSA was enrolled March 5 1862. On the roll of the
company for the mo. Jul/Aug, 1863, last roll on which his name
is borne, he is reported present. No later record of him has
been found.  Her pension is appoved.

NOTE: Lucina Williams b. 1836 Pike Co. Al. married to S. A.
McCook  dau of my John in Pike Co. Al. census 1850.

I am including below exerpts from register reports on several
families that have connections to McCOOKs in Chattahoochee Co,
GA.  The first is definitely your family, and the other two
quite possibly kin.  I am interested in information on the
descendants you mentioned as living in north Florida.  Also, my
questions regarding the data below:

1) How is Wright McCOOK who m. Rumahah WILSON kin to Joshua R.
McCOOK?  Note that two of Rumahah's children by her husband
John L. HARP married children of Joshua.

2)  Is Joshua R. McCOOK below the same as Joshua Ryle McCOOK?
If so, and Elizabeth "Betsey" RYALS is the correct maiden name
for the second wife of Edmund CULPEPPER, is Joshua somehow kin
to Betsey?  Note that one of Betsey's grandchildren from her
presumed first marriage to WILLIAMS was named Joshua.  Also,
Joshua R. McCOOK's son John C. F. McCOOK m. Annie WILLIAMS - is
she kin to Betsey's first husband?

3) Is Edmund CULPEPPER's first wife Hester McCOOK kin to Joshua
R. McCOOK (and if so, how)?  Note that she married Edmund in
Wilkinson Co, the same county where Wright McCOOK was born and
where Betsey's children by WILLIAMS were born, as well as where
Joshua R. McCOOK's wife Sarah KING was born. Hope this helps -
further information appreciated.
