Early, GA. • Oct 1812 to 31 March 1813. 1st Corp. Chambers Battalion Infantry; Capt Shadrack Adkinson, Col. Smith, Major Manning. Discharged Ft. New Hope, FL. Mustered out by Major Manning. • 21 Nov 1814 to 20 May 1815. 1st Lt. Wimberly's Regiment, Capt John Thomas' Company, mustered in at Ft. Hawkins, GA. Discharged Darrien, GA. • Additional service: From 1816-1824 Elijah Dean was a Captain in Laurens Co, GA (Dean’s Military District) From 1829-1832 Elijah Dean was a Major in Houston Co, GA.
