C., on Tuesday last, Arthur B. Davis, of a Columbus, Geo. company, shot and killed Capt. C. H. Axson of the Charleston Richardson Guards. Cause, liquor. Davi was taken to Richmond for trial, and the body of Axson carried back to Charleston.
