The fire was called in shortly after midnight Thursday. Eleven units responded to the First Avenue structure about 12:30 a.m., said Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services Deputy Chief Greg Lang. Between 50 and 60 emergency response personnel worked through the early morning hours to bring the blaze under control.
