Eva Jamieson Daniel Alston August 17, 1929 - September 4, 2008 COLUMBUS, GA — 
Eva Jamieson Daniel Alston, 79, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday September 
4, 2008 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. 
EDT Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. 
Ricky Ward and Rev. Travis Shepard officiating.  Interment will follow at 
Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 
p.m. EDT Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the funeral home. Mrs. Alston was born 
August 17, 1929 in Richland, GA and was the daughter of the late Sidney 
Jamieson and Anna Lou Riles Jamieson. She was a member of White Rock Freewill 
Baptist Church in Ladonia, AL. Mrs. Alston was preceded in death by her first 
husband, William Buford Daniel, Sr., son, William Buford Daniel, Jr., grandson, 
Gabriel Kenneth Daniel, and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, 
James L. Alston, Jr. of Columbus GA; daughter, Patricia Wright and her husband 
Chuck of Cumming, GA; son, Kenneth G. Daniel and his wife Melissa of Phenix 
City, AL; brother, Buster Earl Jamieson of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren, 
William Brent Daniel, William Brett Daniel, Kristy K. Williams, Katy K. Baird, 
Ashley K. Daniel and Whitney Brye Daniel; three great grandchildren, many 
nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Additional Comments:
I can not determine , by looking at Ga map, if Richland lies in Stewart or 
Webster County. Her Obit says Born in Richland, GA. JF
