Aubrey E. Bone

Aubrey E. Bone, 77, of 1539 Wildwood Ave., Columbus died Friday at 
University Medical Center, Birmingham, Ala.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Wynnton United Methodist Church, with 
burial in Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 
Columbus.

Mr. Bone was born July 28, 1908, in Taylor County, Ga., son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Frank Harris Bone. He lived in Columbus most of his life and was one of the 
founders of Valley Fruit and Produce Co. He was a member of Wynnton United 
Methodist Church and its Cofer Sunday School Class. He also belonged to the 
Columbus Kiwanis Club and was a board member of Valley Rescue Mission.

Survivors include his wife, Trudy H.; two daughters, Anne B. Parker and 
Patricia B. Wyatt, both of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Aubrey H. Bone of 
Sebring, Fla., and Jimmy L. Bone of Columbus; three brothers, Ray E. Bone, 
James A. Bone and Frank Bone, all of Columbus; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-
grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may go to the building fund of Wynnton United 
Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
