Mrs. Bone was born in Butler Dec. 25, 1888, a daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. John Locke. She was a member of Wynnton Baptist Church and the United Daughters of the Confederacy and had lived here 15 years. Survivors include five sons, A. E., F. A., Frank, Ray and James Bone, all of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. G. L. Walden, Augusta; two brothers, A. J. and J. B. Locke, both of Butler, and 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Columbus Daily Enquirer Friday, August 19, 1966 Page Twenty Seven Funeral Notices Bone – Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Bone will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Butler, Ga., with the Rev. Charles Granade and Rev. E. H. Dunn officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The following grandsons will serve as pallbearers: A. H. Bone, Jr., Jimmy Bone, Norman Bone, Frank Hollis Bone, Ray Bone, Jr., and John Bone, Phillip Bone and David Bone. Survivors include five sons, A.E., F.
