Funeral Services At Providence Tomorrow Afternoon. Following an illness of three weeks of Bright's disease, James T. Brodnax, 63 years old, died this morning at 2 O'clock at his home about seven miles from Columbus. Mr. Brodnax had spent his entire life in Muscogee County, where he had been quite successful in agricultural pursuits and where he was highly esteemed as a citizen. He was a son of the late Rev. J. E. Brodnax, of this county and his Mother was before her marriage, Miss Martha Watkins, of Columbia, S.C. Besides his widow, Mr. Brodnax is survived by seven children, Charles E. Brodnax, of Preston; James H., Wm. T., and Lester Brodnax, of Cusseta; Mrs. S. H. Cooksey, of Columbus; Mrs. Rudolph Preston, Jr., of Cusseta, and Miss Collye Brodnax, of Atlanta. Three Sisters, Mrs. L. W. Britt, Mrs. J A. Phelts and Mrs. J. J. McBride, all of Columbus, also survive. The funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 O'clock by Rev. B. W. Ware, of Cusseta, at Providence Church, six miles from the city on the St. Mary's Road. The following will act as pallbearers: W. S. Van Horn, Yancey Massey, Pedru Culpepper, Eugene Willis, Homer Phelts and Ed Tomblin.
