Harold E. "Hal" Brooks, Jr. March 30, 1952- October 16, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA

Mr. Harold (Hal) E. Brooks, Jr., 55, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 
St Francis hospital due to natural causes. He went to be with the Lord after a 
long struggle of illnesses. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, 
October 19, 2007 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church, 3000 12th Avenue, 
Columbus with Pastor Mike McBride officiating according to McMullen Funeral 
Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. Interment will be held privately at 
Parkhill Cemetery. 

Born in Columbus, Georgia, Hal was the son of Ernestine Eidam Brooks and the 
late Harold E. Brooks, Sr. He was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God. 
Hal was a loving and supportive husband of 30 years, a father (Big Pops), a 
grandfather, a brother, a son, uncle, cousin, nephew and special friend to all. 
Hal was preceded in death by his father Harold Brooks Sr. He leaves behind his 
devoted wife Kathy of Columbus; his mother Ernestine of Columbus; his daughter 
Angela of Columbus; his son Greg and daughter in law Tara and grandson Noah all 
of Buford, GA; his sister Laura and brother in law Pete, his niece Jenny and 
her husband Rand, all of Roswell, GA; great nieces Julia and Clara, and many 
other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great aunts, great uncles and 
many other extended family and friends.

 Hal will be missed in so many ways but he has gone to rest in peace with the 
Lord. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to his wife 
Kathryn Brooks payable to Trinity Temple Assembly of God, 3000 12th Ave., 
Columbus, GA 31904. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at
