Deaths and Funerals 

     Mrs. M.E. Bartlett. 
Mrs. M.E. Bartlett, aged 69 years, died at her home at Troy,
Ala., yesterday afternoon at 6:10 o'clock. Before moving to
Troy, some time ago, Mrs. Bartlett lived in Columbus for a
number of years. The remains arrived here today, and the
funeral was held at the union station at 12:25 o'clock this
afternoon. The services were conducted by Dr. Solon Cousins.
The interment was in Riverdale cemetary. 

Mrs. Bartlett is survived by the following sons: J.E., Boyd,
F.C., C.C. Bartlett: three daughters, Mrs. A.O. Wright, Mrs.
Carlos Hughes and Mrs. C.F. Preston, and one granddaughter,
Mrs. W.H. Raymond. 

The pall bearers were: A. G. Smith, E.G. Abbott, George S.
Hamburger, N.E. Phipps, A.E. Ingram and George S. Sheppard.
