Mrs. Maude Bryant

Mrs. Maude Bryant 79 of Rt.383-B, Goat Rock Road diedTuesday at her residence.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the ParkhillCemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby, Macon Road.
Mrs. Bryant was born August 6, 1897, in Columbus.  She lived in columbus all her life and was the widow of Wallace J. Bryant.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret L. Karkut ,Keen, New Hamphire, Mrs. Dororthy I. Sears, Stone Mountain, Mrs. Mary E. Collier of Columbus;  Two sons Wallace J.Bryant Jr. Ogden, Utah and James C. Bryant,  Fortson, Ga.; 20 grandchildren;  15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

(Research):After the death of Lillie Bryant, Maude's sister, and King R. Blalock, Maude's husband, Maude married Wallace Bryant and raised Lillie's children.  Maude had no children of her own.
