Funeral of Mr. Norris Cox
Internment at Linwood Yesterday Afternoon
The funeral of MR. NORRIS COX took place from the home of his parents, MR. AND 
MRS. CHARLES COX at No. 1026 Eighteenth Street on East Highlands, at 3 o’clock 
yesterday afternoon.  The services were conducted by DR. W. H. SMITH, pastor 
of the First Baptist church, in the presence of a large number of friends and 
acquaintances of the deceased gentleman.  The internment was in Linwood 
cemetery. The following gentlemen acted as pall bearers: Messrs. A. A. CARSON, 
A. C. FUSSELL, JOHN ANDERSON, HENRY ALBRECHT, EUGENE KING, JAMES SMITH, JR. 
The Central railroad shops were shut down, in order that the employees might 
attend the funeral
