DEATH OF JOHN H. DAVIS

This gentlema, so favorably known as the popular
proprietor of the Warm Springs, in this State, died at
his place on Sat morning last at 1 o'clock. His remains
were brought to this city for interment, yesterday
morning. According to his expressed desire in his will,
his burial was quiet and without display. His comrades in
arms, the Columbus Guards, were anxsiou to give his body
