Feb 27, 1966 Bernan P. Fuller Bernan P. Fuller, 55, 3607 Vernon Drive, died 5:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Frances Hospital. He was born August 26, 1910, in Columbus and was a son of the late Allen Chapman and Rosa Massey Fuller, and resided in Columbus all of his life. He was a civil service employe for the past 25 years and a member of the Colombian Lodge No. 7, F. & A.M.A. Veteran of World War II and of Korea, was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Adams Fuller and one brother, Marvin O. Fuller, of Phenix City. Funral will be Monday 2 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Chapel with Rev. Henry Neal, Eastern Heights Baptist Church. Interment in Park Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Robert Story, James Story, Marvin O. Fuller, Jr., Allen Chapman Fuller, J. H. hand and J.D. Bertran. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road, Columbus. Mrs Fuller was born June 8, 1916 in Trussville, Al, daughter of the late William Rex and Trudie Screws Adams. She had been an area resident for more than 30 years, and was a member of the Eastern Heights Baptist Church and attended the Morningside Baptist Church. Other memberships inclide past matron of the Order of Wastern Star and Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls Assembly, past memberships include the American Business Women Club. Mrs. Fuller retired from Agricultural Soil Conservation Services with more than 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernan Preston Fuller.
