       EDGAR M. POLK
  Edgar M. Polk, 71,  207 K. Peabody Apartments died today at his home.
  He was born February 14, 1901 in Stewart County, Ga a son of the late John & 
Annie Duke Polk.
  He was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie E. Polk, a daughter, Mrs. Mamie 
Gordon, a son, Grover G. Polk, all of Columbus, two brothers  A. L. Polk, 
Damascus, Ga, Dan W. Polk, Macon Ga, six grandchildren and 2 great 
grandchildren.
