Moore Well Known Mechanic Dies Suddenly at Post of Duty. William A. Moore died suddenly of apoplexy near his home in Hill City at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Moore was born in Columbus, Ga. sixty-one years ago. He came to Chattanooga in 1885. He was a mechanic by occupation and had lived a very active life. He was working at the Forest Avenue Methodist church near his home when the summons came. In 1869 Mr. Moore was married to Miss Mary C. Beeland of Columbus, Ga. He was a prominent Mason, also a member of the Odd Fellows. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Crawford, of Hill City, and by two sisters, Mrs. D. T. Griffith and Mrs. T. J. Jones, both of Columbus, Ga. The funeral services will be held at the home on Colville street this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Bernard Gibbs, assisted by Dr. J. W. Bachman, after which members of the Masonic order will have charge. The interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Additional Comments: Correction: Daughter is Eugenia Moore Crawford. W. A.
