Hart Mrs. S.F. Hart, 53, died Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at her home, 219 Tenth Street, following a stroke earlier in the day. She, with her family had lived in Columbus for about four years, moving to this place from their former home, Junction City, Ga. Mrs. Hart with her husband has been actively engaged in a mercantile business at 1944 Second Avenue, and in that capacity had ministered to the poor people in that neighborhood. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Columbus, Ga. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hart leaves one daughter, Miss Susie Frank Hart, and two brother, Mr. L.P. Fielder of Opp., Ala. and Mr. M.T. Fielder of Junction City, Ga., and one niece, Mrs. Ed Layfield of Phenix City, Ala. She was distantly related to Judge C.F. McLaughlin of this city. The funeral services will be conducted at the Mt. Zion Church near Box Springs, Ga. by Rev. Mr. Allison, who officiated at both the baptism and marriage of Mrs. Hart. The funeral party will leave Columbus for Box Springs about nine o'clock Wednesday morning, going through the country. The following nephews will act as pallbearers: Robert, Evans and Beeland Blythe, sons of a sister now deceased, and Edlowe, Terrell and Clyde Fielder, all from Junction City, Ga. The Talbotton New Era 1/1/1925 Mrs. S. F. Hart, a former resident of Junction City, died in Columbus Monday. Before her marriage, she was Miss Susie Fielder. Survivors are her husband, daughter Miss Susie Frank Hart, and brothers Mr. Mark Fielder of Junction City and Mr. L. P. Fielder of Andalusia, Al. The Talbotton New Era Thursday, January 1, 1925 Mrs. S.F. Hart Died Monday Junction City and all Talbot was saddened Monday by the death of Mrs. S.F. Hart, of Columbus, Ga. Mrs. Hart lived at Junction City for a good many years before moving to Columbus some four or five years ago. She was a sister of Mr. Mark Fielder and an aunt of the Messrs. Blythe of Junction City. Mrs. Hart before her marriage was Miss Susie Fielder. She was reared in Chattahoochee county, where she had a host of friends. Mrs. Hart was a lady of noble Christian character. All who knew her loved her. Her death was a sad shock to her many friends here and in Columbus. She is survived by her husband, Mr. S.F. Hart and one daughter, Miss Susie Frank Hart, and two brothers, Mr. Mark Fielder, of Junction City, and L.P. Fielder, of Andalusia, Ala. The remains were interred in the Box Springs Cemetery Wednesday. The bereaved family have the sympathy of many friends and relatives. Additional Comments: Transcriber's note: Susie Vassar Fielder Hart was the youngest child of William Pinkney Fielder and Susannah McLaughlin. She was born on April 16, 1871 in Marion County, Ga. On March 12, 1899 she married Soloman Frank Hart in Chattahoochee County, Ga. The couple had two children, Susie Frank Hart(1902-1986) and Phelder Hart (?-1903). Susie Fielder Hart is buried at Mt. Zion cemetery, Chattahoochee County, on Ft. Benning military reservation.
