Barbara Ann Kirkland August 11, 1934 --October 18, 2005 Columbus, GA.

A loving mother, sister and friend, Barbara Ann Kirkland , passed away 
Tuesday , October 18,2005 surrounded by her loving family and special friends 
Joe and William Shirey. Mrs. kirkland was born in Florence , S.C., on August 
11,1934 and was preceded in death by her parents, Edna F. Bailey and Richard A. 
Bailey. Her husband of 25 years, James Addis Kirkland, also preceded her in 
death. Mrs.Kirkland is survived by three children: Jimmie Kirkland and wife 
Donna of Mars Hill, N.C., Faith Frost and husband Richard of Columbus, Hope 
Thrower and husband Bill of Columbus. Mrs. Kirkland has four grandchildren;Tara 
Elizabeth Kirkland of Mars Hill, Bailey Kathleen Frost of Columbus, William 
James Thrower and Addison Bennett Thrower of Columbus. She is survived by Nan 
Hancock {William} of Effingham, S.C.; Beatrice Theresa Cooley { Bud} of 
Darlington, S.C. and Jimmy Bailey of Darlington.

Funeral Services will be Saturday ,October 22,2005 at 2 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby 
Mortuary, Macon Road. 

Private burial will be held on Monday October 24,2005 at Riverdale Cemetery, 
Victory Drive, Columbus, GA.
