Died

Mrs. Martha Kemp, whom we made mention some time ago as being sick, died last 
Sunday morning about 1 o’clock at the home of Mr. Mathew Melton in this 
county.  She was afflicted with that dreaded disease, consumption, and was 
forty-five years of age.  She was a resident of Columbus, and was on a visit to 
her sister, Mrs. Melton, in the hope that the change might prove beneficial.
