Funeral services and interment for Dr. Wales W. Lewis, former well-known 
Atlanta physician and son of the late Dr. Walker Lewis, who died Sunday at 
West Palm Beach, Fla., will be held today at Cartersville, where the body was 
taken.  H.M. Patterson & Son are funeral directors in charge.

Dr. Lewis was born thirty-eight years ago in Columbus, Ga., receiving his 
earlier education in that city and later graduating from Emory University.  He 
was also a graduate of the Atlanta Medical College.

Dr. Wales Lewis Dies In Florida

Dr. Wales W. Lewis, son of the late Dr. Walker Lewis and a former well-known 
Atlanta physician, died late Sunday in West Palm Beach, Fla., according to 
word received by relatives Monday in Atlanta.

The body will be carried to Cartersville, Ga., for funeral services and 
interment Wednesday, with H.M. Patterson & Son, funeral directors, in charge.
Dr. Lews, who was 38 years old, was born in Columbus and received his early 
education in that city, later graduating from Emory university.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Walker Lewis, and three brothers, Linton 
S., Carl H. and McTyeire Lewis, all of Atlanta.
