Brantley Bits

Emily McCall (col.) died very strangely at Nathan Short’s the first inst.  She 
had a sunstroke last fall.  She had been under the treatment of some physician 
in Columbus until recently, and was about well until she moved to this 
settlement a few weeks ago, and was put under the treatment of Dr. Posy (so 
called) of Pine Knot, and death was the result almost immediately.
