Sad Death Of Christian Lady


Mrs. F.L. Massey aged
years passed away,
Funeral service at 9 A.M.
morrow


Mrs. Francis Massey, age eightyeight years of last April
and widow of the late Jerry massey of Muscogee county,
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D.M. Houk, in
Atlanta at eight o'clock last night. Mrs. Massey resided
in Columbus up until about twelve years ago, where she
removed to Atlanta to live with her daughter. Her many
friends here will note her death with sincere regret.
besides her daughter, Mrs. Massey survived by four sons,
Messers. Ed, Morgan, and John Massey of this city and Mr.
Perry Massey of Mississippi,besides several nices and
nephews.

The deceased lady was a constent member of the Baptist
church and was a estimable and highly esteemed lady. The
remains will arrive in this city over the  Southern train
tonight and will be taken to the resident of her son Mr.
E.E. Massey, No. 8 Third avenue. funeral services will be
held at the house at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, and the
remains will be taken by private conveance to Good Hope
cemetery in Chattahochee county, where the interment will
take place tomorrow.
