Massey Has Passed Away Well Known Christian Gentleman Died early Yesterday Morning Out Beyond Rose Hill Mr. Willis W. Massey died at the residence of his brother, Mr. Morgan M. Massey on Talbotton road just beyond Rose Hill at about five o'clock yesterday morning after a short illness. The above announcement will be received with much sorrow and regret by the many Columbus friends of Mr. Massey. He was 54 years of age and a prominent Heptasopn being a member of Chattahoochee conclave of this city. Mr. Massey was a carpenter and for many years held a responsible position at the Central Railroad here. He is survived by his wife and four brothers as follows: Messers: John W., Morgan M., Ed, and Perry Massey. The funeral services are being held this afternoon at three o'clock, conducted by dr. Wm. H. Smith of First Baptist Church and the interment will be in Linwood Cemetery.
