The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus with burial in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. McCutchen was born Oct. 9, 1916, in Summit, Miss., son of Dome W. and LaVada Carter McCutchen. He retired from Prudential Insurance, Newark, N.J., as a construction specialist after 33 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of All Saints Presbyterian Church and had been a member of United Carpenters and Joiners Union, Newark, for more than 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Alma; three sons, W. Bernard McCutchen of Shiloh, Ga., Warren A. McCutchen of Waverly Hall, Ga., and Wayne A.
