Box Springs

Little George Funderburk, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Funderburk of Columbus was 
buried here at Box Springs cemetery July 14th.  We extend to these grief 
stricken parents our deepest sympathy.

NOTE:
I believe this is a child of William Daniel FUNDERBURKE
(1856-ca. 1900) & his wife Eliza (PATE) FUNDERBURKE
(1867-1933), who are both buried at the Box Springs
Cemetery.  I was not aware that they had resided in
Columbus.  I suppose the grave of George is now
unmarked, as I have not seen a record of him, so I'm
grateful that you made this extract available.  (Eliza
was the sister of my gg-gm, Caroline (PATE) SIZEMORE.)
