Mrs. Missouri T. Rice

Mrs. Missouri T. Rice died at St. Francis Hospital at 2:35 P.M. yesterday after 
a long illness.

Mrs. Rice was born in Jackson Co., Fla. on April 7, 1906, the daughter of 
Benjamin and Bertha Harrell Temples.  She had made her home in Phenix City most 
of her life.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.  Surviving are her 
husband Walter L. Rice of Phenix City; two sons, Walter L. Rice, Jr., and 
Robert Rice of Columbus; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Collins, Mrs. Gloria 
King, and Mrs. Betty Williams, all of Columbus; and a brother, Benjamin Temples 
of Blountstown, Fla.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 
Inc.
