                         Nelson C. Peacock
Nelson C. Peacock March 23, 1931- March 4, 2005 COLUMBUS, GA— Nelson C. 
Peacock, 73, of Columbus, died Friday, March 4 at the Columbus Hospice House. 
Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held 2 p.m. Monday, 
March 7, at the Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, Ga., according to Striffler-
Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. 
today at the funeral home. Mr. Peacock was born March 23, 1931 in Glenwood, 
Ga., son of the late Ernest Lonzo Peacock and Lanie Belitha Ruis Peacock. He 
was a retired Army Veteran of Korea and Vietnam, a member of the American 
Legion and AARP. Survivors include his wife, Kazue Peacock of Columbus; 
nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
