Columbus, Ga., October 27-
Mrs. Alvah Pearce, aged 27 years, wife of a prominent young businessman, died 
last night after a lingering illness.  Two children survive her.  Before her 
marriage sge was Miss Fannie Monk.  She was a useful member of the First 
Baptist church and a talented musician.  The funeral occurred this afternoon.
