DEATH OF MR. JAS. RICHARDS OCCURRED THURSDAY

About 3:30 yesterday afternoon occurred the eath of Mr. James R. Richards at 
the home of his son Mr. Ellis Richards, on Mitchell street, this city. The 
former resided in Columbus, Ga., and had come to visit his son and was taken 
sick on Sunday night. He was about 74 years of age. Funeral and interment 
will be at 3 o'clock this afternoon at New Hope, near Milltown.
