Biography
Cynthia “Cindy” Braswell Shuford, 55, of Columbus, GA, died Sunday, September 
2, 2012, at Magnolia Manor of Columbus. 

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at 
11:00 AM, at Ortona Cemetery in Moore Haven, FL. 

Ms. Shuford was born December 31, 1956, in Savannah, GA, to John Thomas and 
Leigh Lumpkin Braswell. She was Episcopalian by faith and she was a homemaker. 
Coming from Moore Haven, FL, she had lived in the area since 2000. She was 
preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by two brothers, John Braswell of Okeechobee, FL, and Jamie 
Braswell of Roanoke, AL; and by a sister, Dawn Lambertus of Ft. Lauderdale, 
FL. 

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these 
arrangements with Akin –Davis Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
