J.M. Story dies at City Hospital


Jesse Mack Story died at the city hospital at 7:05
o'clock Wednesday night where he was carried from his
home on the Floyd road after a short illness of
pneunonia. Mr. Story was the son of the late Jesse C.
Story and Ida Mae Reddock Story, He had lived in Columbus
practically all his life and his many friends will learn
of his passing  with  sincer regret.  He was a menger of
the firm of Gibson and Story Floor company.  Besides his
wife he survived by one daughter, Margaret Story : and
two sons, Robert and James Story of Columbus: one brother
D. J. Story of Columbus and one aunt Mrs. Lydia Martin of
Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday
morning at the Striffler mortuary chapel. Dr. O.B.
Newsome, pastor of the Eastern Heights Baptist church,
will conduct the service and interment will be in
Riverdale cemetery. Pallbearers will be: P.R. Pinkard,
W.L. Gibson, Pete Slayton, W.L. Slayton, Jack Slayton,
and Gifford Slayton.
