               Dora Vickers
  Dora Vickers, 73, of 1049 McBride Drive, Columbus died Monday at St. Francis 
Hospital.
  The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. today at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, with burial 
at Parkhill.
  Mrs. Vickers was born March 16, 1912 in Muscogee County, daughter of Mr. & 
Mrs. John Travis McBride.  She had lived in Columbus all her life, was retired 
from Schwobilt Mfg. Co., and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
  Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette H. McIlwain of Birmingham, Al, a 
sister, Mary Robinson of Columbus,  four brothers, W. Roy McBride, Taft McBride,
and Herman McBride all of Columbus,  J. T. McBride of Experiment, Ga,  two 
grandsons, and a great granddaughter.
