Box Springs, GA- Tynie Jane Vinson, 69, of Box Springs, GA, passed away Friday, 
May 29, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 
born December 17, 1945 in Troy, AL to her late parents Henry and Cordia Mae 
Faulkner. Ms. Vinson was a home maker who loved to play Bingo, watch old Western 
movies, and go to Bible study. She had a passion for her family, and loved to 
visit with them. Ms. Vinson was Baptist by faith and attended Oakland Baptist 
Church when her health would allow.
The family will welcome guests for visitation Sunday, May 31, 2015 12-2 pm in 
the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Celebration 
of Mrs. Vinson's Life will be Monday, June 1, 2015 10:00 am in The Mill Room of 
Striffler-Hamby followed by a Committal Service at Parkhill Cemetery, with 
Reverend Mike Reeves officiating.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Vinson was preceded in death by four brothers; 
Johnny Boyd Faulkner, James Collie Faulkner, Morgan Arnold Faulkner, and Harry 
James Faulkner. She is survived by her loving companion of 28 years; Elbert Leon 
Bellflowers of Box Springs, GA; one son, Curtis Glenn Vinson of Box Springs, GA; 
two daughters, Anita Jane (Dan)Krevdo of Savanna, GA, and Rose Marie (Homer Lee) 
Hallmark of Salem, AL; two sisters, Lena Mae Holmes, and Mary Estell Egler; one 
brother, Jerry Lamar Faulkner; eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, 
many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
