Admission was by card too, yet there were many who could not obtain seats. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. Alston Wragg. Mrs. Charles L. Howard was matron of honor, Miss Catherine Tupper, of New York, was maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Miss Moselle Worsley, Miss Helen Cay, of Atlanta; Miss Felicia Murray and Miss Sarah Lyles, of South Carolina; Miss Georgia Wilkins, Miss Lucy Hill, Miss Mary Gordon. Mr. Grey Worsley was best man for his brother, and the groomsmen were Mr. Charles L. Howard, Mr. Edward Mayo, Mr. Malcolm Fleming, Mr. Clifford Swift, Mr. Frank Kirven, Mr. Richard Spencer, Mr. Reneau Hunt, Mr. Curtis Jordan. The church choir rendered a beautiful song service before the wedding, and the wedding music was exquisite. There were present quite a large number of out-of-town relatives and friends of the young couple, and after the wedding was an elegant reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Blanchard, the happy pair leaving at 10:30 o’clock for Washington, D. C. and other points of interest. The groom is a prominent young lawyer of this city, the bride being prominent in social and church circles.
