Roy Smith, of Atlanta, the wedding having taken place in Atlanta last Sunday. The ceremony was performed at All Saints Church, the Rev. Dr. Memminger officiating. News of the marriage came as a pleasant surprise to the friends of the bride in Columbus. Mrs. Smith is an attractive member of the college set and was enroute from Shorter College to spend her holidays with her parents in Columbus when the ceremony took place. The ceremony was performed in the presence of the bride’s father and several Atlanta relatives. Mr. Smith is of a prominent Savannah family and at present stationed at Camp Gordon.
