Columbus

Miss Annie Mary Scarbrough and Mr. Emerson Marion Davis were married at the home
of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Scarbrough*, on Wednesday afternoon
at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. C. A. Martin officiating in the presence of quite a number
of the relatives and friends of the young people.

The out-of-town guests were Mrs. W. H. Clark, of Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. G. W.
Slaughter and Miss Arcadia Scarborough*, of Fayette, Ala.; Mr. G. A. Faber, Duke
Davis, C. Martin and Rev. L. Cranford, of Mountain Hill, Ga.

The young couple left on the 3:25 for Mountain Hill, where they will spend the
honeymoon, after which they will reside at No. 637 First Avenue, this city.

Transcriber's note: I'm not related to this couple and do not have additional
information about them.  The surname Scarbrough is spelled two different ways in
this article.
