Item First. I give, bequeath and devise to my two grand daughters ANNIE LAURA COX and LUCIAN COX, daughters of Norris and Maggie Cox, One hundred Dollars each, the same to be paid to them in cash to their own benefit and behalf forever. Item Second. I bequeath and devise to my grand-daughter EDITH PETERSON the piano which is now in my home to her benefit and behalf forever. Item Third. I give bequeath and devise to my wife, LAURA COX all the remainder of my property, both real and personal wherever located for and during her natural life, she to have the use of my house and the rents, profits and income from all of my property for her own use, benefit and behalf during her natural life, and at the death of my said wife, I give bequeath and devise to my daughter Mary Peterson, all my household, and kitchen furniture to her own benefit and behalf forever. At the death of my said wife, I give, bequeath, and devise to my daughters CORDELIA MOORE, ESSIE ANDERSON, ABBIE PHELPS, and MARY PETERSON, share and share alike all of my real and personal property of every description and wherever located which is herein given to my said wife for and during her natural life, to her own benefit, and behalf forever. Item Fourth. I direct that my executor hereafter named, shall keep my property herein given to my wife for her natural life together, investing any cash I may have in some safe ways so that it may produce the best income possible in order that my said wife may have as large an income during her life as is possible with the safety of my said cash. Item Fifth. I hereby nominate and appoint my son in law, A.B. MOORE, J.C ANDERSON, ANGUS PHELPS and R.W. PETERSON, executors of this my last will and testament and I do hereby relive them from making any inventory of my property and from making any returns of their actings and doings as my said Executors. If at any time my said Executors or such of them as may qualify, shall deem it to be best instead of my wife and my daughters herein named to sell any of my real or personal and reinvest the same, they are hereby empowered to sell any or all of said or personal property, provided my said wife will agree in writing to said sale, (unreadable word) obtaining the order of any(?) Court, and said sale may be at public or private sale as they may deem best and (unreadable word) for uses herein? named(?)
