Monday, May 7, 1860

Abraham Odom having applied for temporary letters of
Administration on the estate of Abraham Odom Senior
deceased and having entered into bond in the sum of
one thousand dollars with Robert B. Green security. 
It is ordered that temporary letters of
Administration as upon said issue to him
accordingly.

May 9, 1860

Upon the application of Abraham Odom temporary
Administrator of Abraham Odom Senior deceased.
These men were appointed to appraise estate:  Bright
Averett, James G. Cook, Thomas Sanders, Joseph
Britton, John Sanders.

May 14, 1860

Abraham Odom having applied for the guardianship of
William Odom orphan of Abraham Odom Senior deceased
and said orphan being more than fourteen years of
age and having selected said Abraham Odom for his
guardian.  It is considered and adjudged by the
court that said applicant be and he is hereby
constituted and appointed guardian of said orphan
and that upon said Abraham Odom entering into bond
in the sum of four thousand dollars with Isaac T.
Brooks and John L. Odom securities and taking the
oath required by law that Letters of Guardianship
issue to him accordingly.  
                                   Court adjourned until court in cause
