Tucker Newton Co, Ga Deed Book G Page 342 Date 25 Sept 1843 This indenture made this twenty fifth day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty three between Samuel Thompson of the one part and Daniel P. Tucker of the other. Witnesseth that the said Samuel Thompson for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Daniel P Tucker his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land to be known and distinguished by being the one part of Lot (No 4) in the Eighth district formerly Henry now Newton County to be laid out in a square in the North west corner of said lot containing fifty four acres and one half more or less. To have and to hold beginning at a pine stake running east along the original line Ninety Seven rods thence south to a black jack corner containing Ninety rods thence west to a pine corner containing ninety seven rods thence north ninety rods to the original corner. To have and to hold said parcel or tract of land containing fifty four acres and a half more or less. To have and hold said tract or parcel of land unto the said Daniel P Tucker his heirs and assigns with all {and} Singular the rights and members and appurtenances thereof to the said in any manner to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple and the said Samuel Thompson for himself his heirs and assigns executors and administrators the said bargained {premises} unto the said Daniel P Tucker and his assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof, against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever.
