Tucker Newton Co, Ga Deed Book G Page 485 Date 7 January 1845 This indenture made this seventh day of January One thousand eight hundred and forty five between Daniel P. Tucker of the one part and John Thompson Sen. of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Daniel P. Tucker for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold & conveyed and do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said John Thompson his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land to be known & distinguished by being the one part of Lot (No 4) no four in the eighth district formerly Henry now Newton County to laid out in a square in the North west corner of said lot containing fifty four acres & a half more or less, distinguished as follows boundary beginning at a pine stake running east along the original line Ninety Seven rods, then south to a Black Jack corner, containing Ninety rods thence west to a pine corner containing ninety seven rods then north ninety rods along the original line to the original corner. Also, all that parcel of land being part of lot (No 4) no four in the Tenth district formerly Henry now Newton County bounded as follows commencing at a pine stake near the Stone Mountain road and running down a certain hollow to the branch then down the branch to the original (or district line) line of said lot No. 4 containing five acres more or less. To have and hold said parcels or tracts of land containing fifty nine & a half acres more or less. To have and hold said tract or parcel of land unto the said John Thompson his heirs and assigns with all and Singular the rights and members and appurtenances thereof to the said Thompson in any manner to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple. And the said Daniel P. Tucker for himself his heirs and assigns executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said John Thompson Sen. and his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof, against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever.
