Tucker Newton Co, Ga Deed Book G Page 344 Date 18 Jan 1844 This indenture made this eighteenth day of January A.D. one thousand eight hundred and forty four between John Thompson of the one part and Daniel P. Tucker of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said John Thompson for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Daniel P Tucker his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land known and distinguished by being the one part of Lot (No 4) in the Tenth district formerly Henry now Newton County to commence at a pine stake near the stone mountain road and running down said hollow to the Branch thence down said branch to the original line of said Lot No 4. containing five acres more or less. To have and to hold said parcel or tract of land containing five acres more or less unto the said Daniel P Tucker his heirs and assigns with all and Singular the {receipts} members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple, and the said John Thompson and his assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof, against them selves and against all other persons whatsoever.
