A. Kelly & Bros., are building a commodious warehouse at Indian Creek. ~~We regret to learn that Mr. W. S. Montgomery is confined to a bed of sickness at his home near Brick Store. ~~Mrs. Alfred M. Ramsey, who lives in the neighborhood of the camp ground, is very low, but not necessarily past recovery. She is the widow of the late Major Ramsey and a charitable and Christian lady, who is greatly beloved by all who know her. ~~Several of Madison's most beautiful and accomplished daughters paid Covington a visit recently, and were the guests of Mrs. I. P. Henderson and her fasinating sister, Miss Carrie Dyer. We hope the young ladies fell in love with our city, for they certainly made friends and found admirers while here. ~~W. M. Russell and his industrious son, Thomas, assisted by Deacon Tom Henderson and Jim Burnap, colored, have finished the foot bride over Dried Indian Creek on Cedar Shoals Street. It is a neat and substancial structure and appreciated by persons who live in the western portion of the city. Mr. Russell is a master mechanic and never turns out anything but good work.
