The Enterprise November 1, 1907
     Worshipful Master, A. S. Hopkins, Past Master, James M. Levy, and C. A. 
Harwell represented the Covington Masonic Lodge at the Grand Lodge of Georgia 
Masons held in Macon this week.
     Deputy Grand Master T. H. Jefferies, of Atlanta, and who is well known 
locally was on Wednesday chosen Grand Master over the present incumbent, Hon. 
Max Meyerhardt, of Rome, who has been Grand Master for several years. This 
office is a most important one in that the Grand Master is the head of over 
80,000 Georgia Mason’s.
