From the "Walton News"

     We are glad to see the favorable mention being generally made of Mr. FRANK 
C. DAVIS’S candidacy for commissioner of agriculture. Mr. DAVIS has been in 
Walton a few days during the past week, and many new friends have been added to 
his list. Besides being a native and favorite son of our sister county, Newton, 
he is a farmer of practical experience, having always tilled the soil. He is a 
young and active man, thoroughly equipped, and eminently qualified for the 
position which his friends desire for him.
     Walton County will be glad to help make him commissioner of agriculture.
