He proposes to move things this fall. ~Professor SCOMP, of Emory College, will probably reach Oxford from Europe one day next week. ~Mr. EDWARD HENDERSON, of Jackson, was up to see his many friends in this city Tuesday last. ~Our progressive friend, JOSEPH S. NIX, of the Pioneer Works, left for a two months business tour to Mississippi, on Thursday morning. ~AARON KITCHENS is still in the land of the living. He has made a fair crop, worked hard, had lots of fun, paid for his paper and now speaks of paying a flying visit to friends in California. ~We had a pleasant call from Hon. N. J. HAMMOND, on Wednesday. We are proud to know that our District has the honor of claiming him as its able representative in Congress.
