BOB HARDEMAN will regret to learn of the probable loss of his right eye which threatens to result from cataract. The member is being treated by Dr. CALHOUN, but despite his experienced skill there is little hope of saving the sight. COL. HARDEMAN claims, however, that the loss of one eye will not impair his usefulness as a watch dog of the treasury as he has already observed with the other that the vault is not as full as it ought to be at this season of the year. Col. Hardeman is a long-headed financier, and he has some views about state legislation, which, if adopted by the General Assembly, would advance the financial interests of Georgia.
