A. McKibben, of Atlanta, won two first prizes and one second prize at the recent State Fair in Atlanta; the fairs prize being awarded for the most beautiful set of linen for tea service and other fancy work, and the second for a dainty baby cap. Last year she won first prize for an exquisite dress. Mrs. McKibben, as Miss Florrie Lee, is well known in Covington and Newton County, and is only one of the many daughters of Newton who combine all the qualities of excellent homemakers and model housekeepers, with musical and literary attainments, all of which make the highest type of Southern women.
