H. Mabry has sold his farm and water power to Mr. A. L. King. ~Miss Jessie Avery visited friends in Atlanta last week. ~Mr. Wm. Potts has recovered from boils on his feet and can walk without hopping very much. ~Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Mabry spent a day or two recently visiting friends in Atlanta. ~Mr. John R. and Ross Thompson caught a large coon the other night. John claims to have the finest and best “varmint” dogs in the county. ~Prof. John L. Cowan has a flourishing school at Union Academy. He is a fine teacher and deservedly popular with parents and pupils.
