The Georgia Enterprise
     On Saturday the 25th of September our community was startled with the 
announcement that Mr. James M. Woodruff had shot himself with a pistol, the 
ball taking effect just below and back of his ear and producing instant death.
As no one was with him at the time, it is not certainly known whether the 
shooting was accidental or premeditated; from his position when found, it is 
thought to have been done intentionally. He was not known to be in any 
particular trouble, being a industrious and successful farmer. His family has
the sincere sympathy of our entire community.
